Collection: THE FLUID AF EVERYTHING COLLECTION
Freedom of expression has often taken on various forms from speech to actions, grounded in allowing people to make choices in different aspects of life. Fluidity is one such freedom that is deeply entrenched in the discovery of oneself in the areas that truly matter including gender, race, and sexuality.
This is especially personal to me since I know what it means to be held against the highly constraining expectations of a jaded society that is still stuck in the traditional mindset of a patriarchal gaze. My desire for all is to be able to express oneself in truth, both without fear of shame or retribution. Sexuality is infinite, and the beholder holds the power to express their internal truth freely. And what of race fluidity which is infinitely unknown due to our long history of rape, slave trade, and identity being taken and concealed to protect the identity of the offenders, so what is race? Whatever the fuck you want it to be. “Fluid AF everything” collection is a reminder to be free, and courageous enough to break free of those’ invisible’ shackles of conforming to societies expectations of normal that divides.
“Fluid AF everything” Collection was inspired by the need to feel free in spirit, courageous , and non-conforming with the goal to “be. now .free;” by your own standards. This gender-neutral collection allow you to express how you feel you need to radiate your level of expression whether it be through gender, race, or sexuality, or all three - in an artistic manner. It is a representation of the curiosity, tenacity, optimism, and hope of a woke generation who seek to redefine the world through a prism of fluidity. This collection is a combination of custom paintings transformed into leather uppers with a Vibram soul. In the words of the late Audre Lorde, “If I didn’t define myself, I would be crunched into other people’s fantasies for me and eaten alive.” Thus
